How Effective Are Great Crested Newt Mitigation Projects?

ARC in partnership with Durrell Institute of Conservation and Ecology (DICE) at the University of Kent, have just secured funding for a 3-year project to investigate the effectiveness of mitigation measures designed to conserve great crested newt populations.

Hopefully the work will review mitigation projects undertaken since the new licensing system was introduced - unlike the earlier Natural England project that seemed to be out of date before it even started.
